Cornflower water is ideal for caring for your horse's eyes. It is organic and 100% natural. A hydrosol, or floral water, is an aromatic water that is gentler than an essential oil.
A beautiful blue or purple wildflower, cornflowers are becoming increasingly rare in the wild. However, cornflowers have been used since ancient times and offer many beneficial properties. Cornflower floral water is particularly renowned for its anti-inflammatory, soothing, and decongestant effects.
Florixir organic cornflower blossoms are hand-picked and distilled in accordance with organic farming practices. One liter of floral water is normally produced from one kilogram of plants. The molecules in Florixir hydrosols are even more concentrated because Florixir produces 500ml from one kilo of plants. Florixir hydrosols keep better than most conventional aromatic waters and therefore contain more active ingredients.
Our partner Florixir grows its plants in the Somme region of Picardy, on the coast, to manufacture its products. All of their essential oils and hydrosols are certified organic and produced in their distillery with a minimum distillation time of two hours. The products are packaged in their laboratory in Gamaches, Picardy.
Florixir's advice:
Place cotton pads or wipes (reusable ones are even better) soaked in cornflower water on your horse's eyelids for 5 minutes.

For these masks, the main measurement is the width of your horse's forehead. To do this, you need to add together three measurements:

IMPORTANT: Do not measure directly from one eye to the other, as this will likely result in an inaccurate measurement.
