This unique ophthalmic cap is the perfect complement to ophthalmic protection/goggles for horses. It provides excellent insulation and is therefore recommended for mid-seasons or winter. For summer, opt for the Hélios mask, which is lighter and more breathable, yet just as effective. Completely flexible, the Premium mask can be worn permanently and safely by any horse requiring special eye protection (uveitis, ulcer, cataract, etc.), both in the field and in the stall. It also provides effective protection against wind, dust, hay stalks, rain, etc.It can be used for outdoor work or flatwork. Given its opacity, we do not recommend using it for jumping; for these disciplines, opt for Evysor goggles or equigoogs.
Conçu en 2 parties associant deux matériaux techniques, il assurera à votre cheval un maximum de confort et de protection :
- Partie bonnet > toile stretch déperlante. Fermeture par un large velcro et 1 sangle réglable au niveau de la sous-gorge.
- Partie oculaire > toile enduite résistante et micro-perforée assurant un filtre optimal des rayons UV, du vent, de la poussière, tiges de foin...
Un bourrelet intérieur en mousse amovible permettent à la toile d'être maintenue éloignée de l'oeil du cheval.
Un arceau semi-rigide permettant un très bon maintien du masque et sécurisant l’éloignement de la toile.

Si votre cheval bénéficie d'une assurance couvrant les frais vétérinaires, l'achat d'une protection oculaire prescrite dans le cadre d'un accident ou du traitement d'une pathologie ophtalmique peut, selon votre contrat, être remboursé en tout ou partie. Le cas échéant, votre assureur pourra vous demander une ordonnance de votre vétérinaire mentionnant le produit prescrit.
Le port d'un masque n'est pas naturel pour le cheval. Il est donc indispensable de vérifier au moins une fois par jour que celui-ci est correctement positionné, qu'il n'occasionne aucun frottement et qu'il est bien toléré. Nous apportons le plus grand soin à la conception de nos protections ophtalmologiques et au choix de leurs matériaux. Toutefois, chaque cheval étant unique, il vous appartient de vous assurer que le modèle et la taille choisis sont parfaitement adaptés à sa morphologie ainsi qu'à la protection recherchée.

FranceHello, and above all, a huge thank you to Equidiva. My horse suffers from chronic uveitis. I ordered the Premium mask without ears, as he also has summer dermatitis. This means that he tears all his previous masks at the ears when he scratches! I have been using the two masks alternately for over a month now. This is so that I can wash them and have one for the paddock and one for the stall at night. The masks are also extremely easy to wash in the machine! The perforations in the fabric are really high quality. In fact, the fit is tighter than with "traditional" masks. They provide much better protection from dust and wind, as well as UV rays, thanks to their opacity. Without obstructing vision. My horse seems very comfortable in them. Thanks to the flexible browband, which does not rub against the fabric. I won't hide the fact that this was one of my concerns, especially with dermatitis. What's more, the distance between the eyes and the fabric is just right. The foam padding makes them even more comfortable to wear and cushions any friction. They might be a little warm for summer, but you can't have everything! I've also been able to reduce the cortisone creams, and the flare-ups seem to be much less frequent. It's a huge relief for him. IMPORTANT: Do not measure directly from one eye to the other, as this will likely result in an inaccurate measurement.
