Equivizor Lightweight Mask 90% UV protection without ear flaps

This mask is imported from Australia, the land of flies! Like all our products, it offers excellent coverage and UV protection (90%) and is the perfect complement to veterinary treatment for uveitis in particular.

Completely flexible, it can be worn continuously and safely by any horse requiring special eye protection (uveitis, ulcers, cataracts, etc.), both in the field and in the stall. It can also be used for outdoor work or flatwork. Given its opacity, we do not recommend using it for jumping; for these disciplines, opt for Evysor rigid goggles.

Specific features of the mask:
- Front opening to allow the forelock to pass through,
- Thick neoprene interior to keep the fabric away from the horse's eyes,
- Velcro closure at the throat,
- Second closure system with two straps, one passing behind the ears and the other under the throat.

This mask is ideal for horses that live permanently in the pasture. It is particularly effective if your horse suffers from uveitis, cataracts, conjunctivitis, ulcers, or any other eye condition or fragility.

To find the right size, refer to the size chart. In the event of an error, we process returns and reshipments as quickly as possible, provided the product is returned in perfect condition within 14 days.

This mask is recommended or prescribed by equine veterinarians to accompany treatment for uveitis, cataracts, ulcers, or any other eye condition and/or fragility.

Made in Australia (materials and manufacturing).

Tailles : XS (shetland) – S (poney) – M (cob) – L (full) – XL (XFull)

Please note:

If you have taken out insurance covering your horse's veterinary expenses, the purchase of eye protection required in the event of an accident or the treatment of an ophthalmic condition may be covered in whole or in part by your insurance company. If this is the case, and subject to its terms and conditions and the policy taken out, it will require the products to be prescribed by your veterinarian on the prescription they give you.

Horses are not designed to wear masks! Make sure at least once a day that the mask has not moved and that your horse is comfortable wearing it. We take the utmost care in manufacturing our products and selecting materials, but every horse is different and it is your responsibility to check that the equipment you have chosen (model + size) provides the necessary protection for your horse's eyes.

Equivizor Lightweight Mask 90% UV protection without ear flaps.

I haven't used it yet. I currently have the one with the headband, which is really good. Unfortunately, it was out of stock when I made my purchase. I just think it's a shame that the lightweight mask doesn't have a strap between the ears like the one with the headband. It stays in place better when the horse rolls around... We'll see how it goes in use...

Bra strap clip not very sturdy, otherwise TOP

Hello, We are very satisfied with this mask, which we order regularly for two ponies suffering from uveitis. However, we find that the plastic clips are not very sturdy, especially the one on the throat strap. One of the ponies managed to break it after 48 hours, and the second one after a few months. We replaced them with metal snap hooks (the type used on blankets). A little reinforcement at the corner seams above the eyes would also be appreciated. The ponies make holes there when they rub against trees in the pasture. Otherwise, this mask is great and protects them well. We will be ordering more. Have a nice day. Best regards. EQUIVISOR LIGHTWEIGHT MASK

I am satisfied with my purchase. I wear the mask outdoors 24 hours a day due to uveitis. The Velcro fastener is a little long, but the mask stays in place well. It is easy to put on and take off for care. I hope it lasts a long time.

What size should I choose for my Equidiva mask/hat?

All measurements are approximate and are provided for informational purposes only.

Size guide - Premium or Helios mask

Using a tape measure (or a piece of string that you will measure afterwards), measure around your horse's head as shown in the photo:

    Mask size Head circumference
    XS - Shetland 84 cm
    S - Pony 90 cm
    M - Cob 94 cm
    L - Full 100 cm
    XL - XFull 110 cm
If your horse's head measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger of the two.

Size guide - Equivizor masks (Lightweight, Arso, Convalescence models)

For these masks, the main measurement is the width of your horse's forehead. To do this, you need to add together three measurements:

    1. Start at the outer corner of one eye and measure upwards at a slight angle to the middle of the forehead (measurement A).
    2. continue along the front of your horse(measurement B),
    3. Finish the measurement by directing the line slightly downward to the outer corner of the other eye (measurement C). This way, you will measure the widest part of your horse's forehead.

Add these 3 measurements (A+B+C) to obtain the size of your horse's forehead.

IMPORTANT: Do not measure directly from one eye to the other, as this will likely result in an inaccurate measurement.

    equivizor mask measurements

    Mask size Forehead size
    XS - Shetland 7.5–8.7 inches
    S - Pony 8.7–11.4 inches
    M - Cob 11.5–13.5 inches
    L - Full 13-14 inches
    XL - XFull 15-17 inches

    Size guide - Rambo mask

    Take these 3 steps:

    Size A B C
XS (large Shetland) 60 cm 84 cm 20 cm
    S (pony) 70 cm 96 cm 9.5 inches
    M (cob) 70 cm 96 cm 9.25 inches
    L (full) 75 cm 105 cm 27 cm

If your horse is between sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller size.

    Size guide - Equivet mask

Measure the distance between the center of the horse's two eyes:

Mask size Distance between the eyes
    S - Pony 18 cm
    M - Cob 21 cm
