Uvemix has been formulated by our partner ESC Laboratoire, an expert in equine phytotherapy. It helps protect horses' eyes in cases of recurrent eye conditions.
Uvemix is composed of eight plants selected for their circulatory and antioxidant properties and their flavonoid content. These include:
Naturally rich in antioxidants known for their beneficial effects on ocular blood circulation. Although horses have good vision (especially at night), their eyes are fragile and prone to trauma, which can cause recurrent eye problems.
This plant has soothing properties and also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. It is nicknamed "glasses breaker"!
Selected for its ability to delay ocular aging due to its properties on blood microcirculation.
Blend of dehydrated, untreated, GMO-free cut herbs:
WHITE WILLOW - BLUEBERRY BERRY - BLACKCURRANT - EUPHRAISIE - BOSWELLIA - BLUEBERRY LEAF - GINKGO BILOBA - TURMERIC

1 dose to be added to the basic ration of an adult horse (550kg), i.e. 50g per day for 3 weeks.
If possible, administer in 2 daily doses.
Repeat if necessary.

FranceSo it's a bit tricky to administer when the horse doesn't have a daily ration, being out in the pasture all year round and overweight. We have to add a little grain to get him to swallow the herbs, which in his case isn't ideal... So I'm not questioning the product itself, but a formula in the form of a cap that can be taken like a candy would be great!
