Le masque Helios bénéficie d'une toile anti-UV (90%), il protège également du vent, des brins de foin et bien sûr des insectes. Il est extrêmement confortable grâce à la polaire épaisse qui borde toutes les zones en contact avec la peau du cheval. Son arceau semi-rigide maintient la toile éloignée des yeux, le tissu du bonnet permet une circulation d'air, indispensable pendant les mois d'été. Il existe également en version sans cache-oreilles. Il bénéficie d'un double système de fermeture, par velcro et boucle. Le cheval ayant ses yeux sur le côté de sa tête, la zone du chanfrein n'entre pas dans son champ de vision. La bande noire située le long du chanfrein n'a aucun impact sur son champ de vision, majoritairement latérale et arrière.

Le masque Helios un parfait complément au traitement vétérinaire pour les chevaux atteints d'une pathologie ophtalmologique : uvéite, ulcère, conjonctivite, kératite, cataracte...

Son long cache-nez amovible permet également de soulager certains chevaux atteints de headshaking,protège les chevaux à peau claire,évite la gêne liée aux insectes. Entièrement souple, il peut être porté en permanence et sans risque par tout cheval, au pré comme au box.
