This ophthalmic mask can be worn permanently and safely by any horse requiring special eye protection (uveitis, ulcer, cataract, etc.), both in the pasture and in the stall. It also provides effective protection against the sun, wind, dust, hay stalks, rain, etc.

Designed in two parts combining two technical materials, it will ensure maximum comfort and protection for your horse:

• Cup section: water-repellent stretch fabric. Fastens with a wide Velcro strip and 1 adjustable strap under the bust.
• Partie oculaire :
  - toile enduite résistante et micro-perforée assurant un filtre optimal des rayons UV, du vent, de la poussière, tiges de foin...
  - arceau semi-rigide permettant un très bon maintien du masque et sécurisant l’éloignement de la toile,
  - 1 bourrelet intérieur en mousse amovible permettent à la toile d'être maintenue éloignée de l'oeil du cheval.

Wash with cold soapy water and a brush or in a washing machine on a cold cycle, short program, low spin, ideally protected in a laundry net.

This mask is recommended or prescribed by equine veterinarians to accompany treatment for uveitis, cataracts, ulcers, or any other eye condition and/or fragility.

Please note: If you have taken out insurance covering your horse's veterinary expenses, the purchase of eye protection required in the event of an accident or the treatment of an ophthalmic condition may be covered in whole or in part by your insurance company. If this is the case, and subject to its terms and conditions and the policy taken out, it will require the products to be prescribed by your veterinarian on the prescription they give you.

Horses are not designed to wear masks! Make sure at least once a day that the mask has not moved and that your horse is comfortable wearing it. We take the utmost care in manufacturing our products and selecting materials, but every horse is different and it is your responsibility to check that the equipment you have chosen (model + size) provides the necessary protection for your horse's eyes.

Work goggles for ponies and horses

Equigoogs are lightweight, adjustable, stable, and comfortable goggles for Shetland ponies, ponies, horses, and heavy horses with sensitive or fragile eyes, allowing them to be ridden and worked normally.

These protective eyewear were designed with the help of veterinarians specializing in equine ophthalmology. The tinted version is ideal for ponies and horses with photosensitive eyes: squinting on white arenas, headshaking, etc.

Precautions for using equigoogs

• Equigoogs are glasses designed specifically for working with horses.
• Do not leave them on an unattended horse that could rub the shells against a wall, fence, its legs, etc.
• To be installed just before the work session and removed immediately afterwards.
• At the end of the session, store the equigoogs in their case or, if you leave them attached to the bridle, protect each shell.

Equigoog maintenance

• Gently wipe the equigoog shells with a microfiber cloth (clean and dry).
• For the fastening system: grease the leather fastenings and brush the elastic parts (soft brush).
