This unique ophthalmic cap is the perfect complement to ophthalmic protection/goggles for horses. It provides excellent insulation and is therefore recommended for use in spring, fall, and winter. For summer, opt for the Hélios mask, which is lighter and more breathable, yet just as effective. Completely flexible, the Premium mask can be worn permanently and safely by any horse requiring special eye protection (uveitis, ulcer, cataract, etc.), both in the field and in the stall. It also provides effective protection against wind, dust, hay stalks, rain, etc.It can be used for outdoor work or flatwork. Given its opacity, we do not recommend using it for jumping; for these disciplines, opt for Evysor goggles or equigoogs.

Designed in two parts combining two technical materials, it will ensure maximum comfort and protection for your horse:
- Cap section: water-repellent stretch fabric. Closes with a wide Velcro strip and one adjustable strap under the throat.
- Eye section: durable, micro-perforated coated fabric providing optimal protection from UV rays, wind, dust, hay, etc.

- 1 removable inner foam pad keeps the fabric away from the horse's eyes.

- Semi-rigid headgear provides excellent support for the mask and ensures that the fabric remains away from the eyes.

Wash with cold soapy water and a brush or in a washing machine on a cold cycle, short program, low spin, ideally protected in a laundry net.

This mask is recommended or prescribed by equine veterinarians to accompany treatment for uveitis, cataracts, ulcers, or any other eye condition and/or fragility.

New Helios mask, therapy or wellness, the perfect combination of comfort and effectiveness to protect your horse's eyes.

The Helios mask features UV-protective fabric (90%) and also protects against wind, hay, and of course insects. It is extremely comfortable thanks to the thick fleece lining all areas in contact with the horse's skin. Its semi-rigid headband keeps the fabric away from the eyes, and the fabric of the hood allows air to circulate, which is essential during the summer months. It is also available in a version without ear flaps. It features a double closure system with Velcro and buckles.

Since horses' eyes are located on the sides of their heads, the area around the muzzle does not fall within their field of vision. The black band along the muzzle has no impact on their field of vision, which is mainly lateral and rearward.

The Helios mask is the perfect complement to veterinary treatment for horses suffering from ophthalmological conditions such as uveitis, ulcers, conjunctivitis, keratitis, cataracts, etc. Its long removable nose cover also provides relief for some horses suffering from headshaking,protects horses with light-colored skin, andprevents discomfort caused by insects.

Completely flexible, it can be worn permanently and safely by any horse, in the pasture or in the stall. It can also be used for flatwork, but given its opacity, we do not recommend using it for jumping; for these disciplines, we recommend equigoogs.

Clean the mask withcold soapy water and a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly, hang up, and leave to dry in the open air.

If you have taken out insurance covering your horse's veterinary expenses, the purchase of eye protection required in the event of an accident or the treatment of an ophthalmic condition may be covered in whole or in part by your insurance company. If this is the case, and subject to its terms and conditions and the policy taken out, it will require the products to be prescribed by your veterinarian on the prescription they give you.

Horses are not designed to wear masks! Make sure at least once a day that the mask has not moved and that your horse is comfortable wearing it. We take the utmost care in manufacturing our products and selecting materials, but every horse is different and it is your responsibility to check that the equipment you have chosen (model + size) provides the necessary protection for your horse's eyes.
