Featuring a rigid, ventilated single-sided shell, theEquivet eye maskprovides effective single-sided insulation, protects the horse's eye from external aggressions (insects, dust, etc.), trauma, and supports any veterinary treatment in cases of uveitis, corneal ulcers, cataracts, etc.
Imported from Denmark and manufactured by Kruuse, a company specializing in advanced veterinary equipment, this mask is often recommended and prescribed by veterinarians for ophthalmic problems requiring total protection of the horse's eye.
It attaches very easily to your horse's halter using Velcro. This makes it easy to put on and take off, particularly for checking the progress of the wound, healing, or the effects of any treatment on the horse's eye.
This horse mask comes with replacement absorbent cotton pads and three boxes of compresses to help you care for and keep your horse's eyes clean.
To find the right size, refer to the size chart above. In case of error, we process returns and reshipments as quickly as possible, upon simple return of the product in perfect condition, within 14 days.
This mask is recommended or prescribed by equine veterinarians to aid in post-operative healing or treatment of the eye in cases of uveitis, cataracts, ulcers, or any other eye condition and/or fragility.

Horses are not designed to wear masks! Make sure at least once a day that the mask has not moved and that your horse is comfortable wearing it. We take the utmost care in manufacturing our products and selecting materials, but every horse is different and it is your responsibility to check that the equipment you have chosen (model + size) provides the necessary protection for your horse's eyes.

GermanyThe mask is very well made, lightweight, and fits well. My mare accepts it perfectly. I also think it's great that the soft parts can be easily replaced and that two spare parts are provided so that dirty ones can be washed. Unfortunately, delivery took 10 days. If the vet hadn't had to come twice to stitch up her lunge, we would have avoided a lot of suffering and expense, and we wouldn't have had to use it again.

For these masks, the main measurement is the width of your horse's forehead. To do this, you need to add together three measurements:
Add these 3 measurements (A+B+C) to obtain the size of your horse's forehead.
IMPORTANT: Do not measure directly from one eye to the other, as this will likely result in an inaccurate measurement.
