Equivizor for horses and ponies
€249,00
In most cases, eye surgery requires specific temporary protection once your horse is back in the stable. Not only must the treated area be kept as free from dust as possible, but you must also prevent the horse from scratching so as not to damage the treated area while it heals.
This ventilated PVC eye protection meets these various objectives. It is used in particular by veterinarians after surgery, when the sedated horse is waking up.
Made from rigid PVC with UV protection, it insulates and protects your horse's eyes without obstructing their vision. It features ventilation holes to promote air circulation and allow the wound to dry. The visor is lined with synthetic fur to prevent injury and ensure optimal comfort. A foam cushion is also provided, attached to the lower part, to prevent injury to the zygomatic processes. Three straps, two of which are equipped with sheaths, allow the product to be held in place and secured to the horse's head.
This protection comes with an adaptable insect net, providing perfect secondary protection against flies when outdoors (paddock, field) during convalescence.
To find the right size, refer to the size chart above. In case of error, we process returns and reshipments as quickly as possible, upon simple return of the product in perfect condition, within 14 days.
This mask is recommended or prescribed by equine veterinarians to aid in post-operative healing or treatment of the eye in cases of uveitis, cataracts, ulcers, or any other eye condition and/or fragility.

Please note:
- It should not be worn if the outside temperature is below -10°C. Like any rigid product, this product cannot be worn continuously, and the horse requires close supervision by its keeper.
- If you have taken out insurance covering your horse's veterinary expenses, the purchase of eye protection required in the event of an accident or treatment for an eye condition may be covered in whole or in part by your insurance company. If this is the case, and subject to its terms and conditions and the policy taken out, it will require the products to be prescribed by your veterinarian on the prescription they give you.
Horses are not designed to wear masks! Make sure at least once a day that the mask has not moved and that your horse is comfortable wearing it. We take the utmost care in manufacturing our products and selecting materials, but every horse is different and it is your responsibility to check that the equipment you have chosen (model + size) provides the necessary protection for your horse's eyes.
